George Harrisongs

4 July 2017

Finally got around to adding the cool new version of “Within You Without You” from the 50th anniversary edition of Sgt. Pepper!

29 August 2016

Moved the demo version of “Woman Don’t You Cry for Me” to Pre All Things Must Pass. Thanks for the info, James!

01 November 2014

I’m very excited to announce the addition of three new tracks, plus updated information for all other tracks on the newly released Apple Years box set!

11 April 2013

Added a new recording to the Pre Brainwashed era! A very obscure version of “This Guitar” has slipped passed my radar. George worked on the track with Dave Stewart in the ’90s, and the song was released in 2006 as part of Stewart’s Platinum Weird project!

10 April 2013

Changed artwork for Pre Somewhere in England. I recently discovered that George’s sister Lou disapproved of the release of the photo I originally ended up using for that era. (Read here, in the update after the article). It didn’t feel right to continue using the image, so I’ve gone with another (very fitting!) idea that was a contender during the creation of this site.

I’ve created a companion video for this site that features all of George’s songs in ten second clips! Visit the new video page to check it out!

26 March 2013

Added descriptions for albums Extra Texture (Read All About It) through George Harrison. Stay tuned for more!

25 March 2013

Added descriptions for albums Pre Living in the Material World through Pre Extra Texture (Read All About It). More on the way!

24 February 2013

Website launched just in time for George’s 70th birthday! Since there will most likely always be debate as to what George’s birthday actually is, I’ve decided from now on to arbitrarily recognise it from noon on the 24th until noon on the 25th rather than arbitrarily from midnight to midnight as is common for most other birthdays. Stay tuned for more updates! Home ॐ
