George Harrison

George’s 1979 self-titled album is a solid effort that contains many great songs. “Not Guilty” is a reworking of a Beatles white album outtake. “Here Comes the Moon” is an enjoyable, if not obvious, sequel to “Here Comes the Sun”, and “Blow Away”, the album’s leadoff single, reached number 14 in the US charts and number 7 in Canada.

George became a father during this time when his soon-to-be second wife, Olivia, gave birth to Dhani in August of 1978.
